Jane Birkin once said, “Any bag that’s with me will take the same course as I will. It will take the same airplanes and will be squashed in the same way and will be used as a cushion in the airports.” This perspective has stuck with me over the years; we should strive to use our luxury items in our day-to-day lives while keeping them well-maintained so that they last a lifetime. What’s the point of spending a pretty penny on a designer handbag only for it to sit in the closet and never see the light of day? The Kelly shown above depicts my mindset perfectly. Life has flaws, and so should our bags.
