Cheers to the weekend! I’m not sure if it’s the way the dates fell this year, but it feels like we got an extra weekend in July and I am thoroughly enjoying every minute of this slow summer. I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend.

Loose shorts paired with a sweater is my favorite look for cool summer nights. My recent go to gift for “the person who has everything” is a Perkie Print digital download – I get it printed, put it in a simple frame and send the digital file for a fun phone background. @thetripletsss recently came across my Instagram feed and I was instantly obsessed. My thick, curly hair is challenging to style in the summer, but this photo of Andie MacDowell has inspired me to try a braid. Clocking in some hours by the pool over this long weekend – hoping everyone has fun plans to celebrate the holiday!

We’ve been taking advantage of the grandparents offers to babysit and enjoying date night – it feels so good to get out. Looking forward to checking out Austin Butler as Elvis which debuts this weekend. I recently picked up this Method hand soap at Target and it’s an incredible dupe for Le Labo – I highly recommend. A very special weekend for us – celebrating my husband’s first father’s day. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend celebrating and remembering their fathers, father figures, stepfathers, fathers-to-be and hopeful fathers. Family is everything!

It’s allergy season and this tissue box cover helps blend our tissue boxes with the decor. There’s been a ton of hype around the Revlon hair dryer brush and the rumors are true; this tool is absolutely amazing and has cut down my drying time while giving the look of a professional blowout – I highly recommend. Harry Styles is effortlessly cool and I’ve had his latest album on repeat.

Victoria Beckham recently shared that she uses a white eyeliner to brighten eyes and reduce redness. I’m excited to try it out – Thrive’s Brilliant Eye Brightener has great reviews. The Gigi Clozeau bracelet has been everywhere lately and I keep going back and forth on whether it’s worth the price tag; the reviews mention quality issues. Try the look for less with this Etsy shop. My latest tool for organizing are these drawer dividers and they’re in my dressers, bathrooms and kitchen – life changing.

One of the little luxuries in my life is having a reed diffuser in every room. The current scent is NEST Bamboo; I use these dark jars and natural reed sticks. A lightweight dress was needed for a scorching hot Texas wedding and I was pleasantly surprised with the Jenni Kayne Cypress caftan – I’ve also worn it backward as a crewneck. We recently binged the entire series of The Sopranos and I couldn’t have loved it more – I’m sad we finished. Have a wonderful weekend, all!

I’ve been struggling with my mascara lately and am on the hunt for a new one; a primer might do the trick to give me the length I’m looking for. This Toteme look recently hit my inbox – so chic. My favorite holiday read is Elin Hilderbrand’s Winter Street series. I first read it five years ago and remember the characters and storylines so vividly, it deserves an annual read.
