Clean Laundry

I recently realized a habit of mine that had me curious if others are the same way. When laundry is (finally) done, everything hung, folded and put away, do you find yourself reaching for the same piece(s)? For me, I can’t wait to get my hands on a pair of jeans that fit me just so and a cotton sweater with chunky rib stitch at the crew neckline, along the hem, and sleeve cuffs. It’s a great uniform look for this time of year that lets me switch it up depending on the shoe and bag choice.

  1. Marcheline, YES, I do this, too! In fact, I struggle to get dressed if my favorite jeans, white t shirts, and sweater are in the laundry bin. Proves how little we really need, doesn’t it?

    1. I’m so happy to hear I’m in good company, Lisa! I completely agree. All we need are a few perfect basics. I frequently buy multiples of my favorite pieces.

On a separate note, I’ve been meaning to ask you if you found any suitable replacements since The Laundress recall. Please share any recommendations!

  2. Hi, Marcheline – after much research I bought 4 products from Tangent GC, mostly because they were the only company I could find that had denim, delicates, cashmere and stain remover washes (all of which I bought from The Laundress) in one line. I also tried the scented fabric spray and so far, go good on all of them. Now I just need to find a replacement for the ironing spray (am I the only person on earth that still light-starches my cotton shirts?) Here they are: https://tangentgc.com/collections/garment-care

    Best wishes,

    Lisa
