Love it! Can you share which shoes did you wear? I am hesitating to buy for a black tie event in July Manolo Hangisi in black or Carolyn’s, not sure into which one to “Invest” 🙂
Thank you for following along! An event is an excellent opportunity to invest in a forever piece. I wore The Row Bare Sandals in leather. For me, they are one of the few pairs I can wear all night without changing into the dreaded flip flop. You can’t go wrong with either the Hangisi or the Carolyn, but my recommendation would be the Carolyn in black satin. Suede isn’t a good choice in the summer and leather feels a little corporate. The satin is so chic and you can wear them year round with anything. Let me know what you decide and how else I can help!
One more thing – make sure you get them at least a week or so before the event so that you have time to break them in. There’s nothing worse than wearing a shoe for the very first time at an event.
