Le Weekend LXV

There is so much content to consume during the respective fashion weeks, it’s hard to keep up. I adored seeing Danielle Goldberg and Kaia Gerber at The Row’s presentation at PFW. Today is the last weekday of September and I continue to check in on phoebephilo.com – where is she? I have a large extended family and this weekend is our ‘Cousins Weekend’, which should be a good time. Enjoy with you and yours!

Tove Studio Spring 2024

Tove Studio, designed by Holly Wright and Camille Perry, is a brand to watch – it is reminiscent of ‘quiet luxury’ without the exorbitant designer price points. When speaking about Spring 2024, Holly Wright said “We don’t want anyone to feel too ‘done.'” I adore this collection and appreciate their commitment to the Charvet slippers from Fall 2023.

Emma Dahl

I am heartbroken to hear of the recent passing of Emma Dahl. She was, and will continue to be, such an inspiration to us all. Sending love to her husband, Henrik, and family.

Bottega Veneta The Lauren Clutch

The Lauren Clutch by Bottega Veneta is at the top of my wish list. This beauty was originally designed for Lauren Hutton in the movie American Gigolo in 1980 and was rereleased in Spring 2017. Lauren Hutton walked in Bottega Veneta’s anniversary show with the exact clutch from the movie. I almost pulled the trigger on this one, but someone beat me to it. The search continues.

Personal Mementos

Time seems to move so much faster since I’ve become a mom. We’re at a fun age – 19 months! – and I find myself wanting to soak up every single moment. Lately, I’ve been making more of an effort to take the photos and videos, handwrite the memory, the milestones, the way we were feeling in the moment. I recently compiled a bunch of our footage set to ‘I Love You Baby’ by Frankie Valli. It’s a fun way to look back on our beautiful memories and I’m hoping to make it more of a habit.

Khaite Spring 2024 RTW

The single word that Catherine Holstein used to describe her thoughts for Spring 2024 is ferocity. While Khaite tends to be a bit tougher than my usual style, they are a great source of inspiration for New York women. I keep a close eye on Khaite’s shoes and handbags, and this season every model wore sensible kitten heels and carried a variety of chic bags.
