The long satin skirt made outfit planning easy over the holiday rush. I have a few midi styles, but the longer length is preferred for my pale winter legs and a chicer look (and incredibly comfortable!). While this style of skirt is trending at the moment, I find it to be versatile worn with sweaters and boots now and sandals and a tee come summer. A few favorites are Mango, Leset, Quince and H&M.

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and enjoyed some downtime following the festivities. We enjoyed seeing the magic of Christmas through our little one’s eyes. 2023 was a trying year for our family and we are looking forward to a fresh start in 2024. One of my more fun resolutions is to watch more movies (both at home and at the cinema), starting with the Oscar nominations. I have a few 2024 goals for this creative outlet and I appreciate the continued support. Wishing you and yours a happy and healthy new year!
Maggie Smith starring in Loewe’s Spring 2024 collection is incredible – I love an unexpected component of a campaign, and this is a good one. @ootdnewyork10 provided just the inspiration I needed for a casual holiday party this weekend. I’ll be sticking with an all black look and draping a berry colored sweater to coordinate with my favorite manicure color. I’m all about doubling up and this image by Vogue is a good reminder to coordinate colors and switch up the textures. Happy weekend, all!

Dorsey has been brought to my attention as the jewelry line worn by the chicest women. After reading this Vogue article on Dorsey’s founder, Meg Strachan, I appreciate the brand even more. The Crawford Asscher Cut earrings are my top pick followed by the Clemence necklace.

I recently read Anna and absolutely loved it. It sent me down a rabbit hole of Anna’s stylish looks throughout her impressive career. Her iconic hairstyle and ever-present sunglasses make each look even chicer. She is an inspiration in more ways than one.
I swooned when Toteme’s embroidered knit sweater and scarf hit my inbox. The ‘snow’ color is beautiful and the black contrast embroidery keeps things interesting. Toteme excels at adding a subtle twist to basic pieces – it’s no wonder I want the entire line.

Wearing a statement pair of earrings with a basic turtleneck has been my go-to cold weather combination. Earrings make me feel put together even if I’m just running errands in a turtleneck and jeans. It seems as though all of the recent emails from Cos have featured this combination, and I adore it. My favorite budget friendly pieces are this turtleneck and these earrings.
Fridays in December are filled with holiday shopping, gift wrapping and fair isle sweaters. I always wrap with kraft paper (chic and cost-effective) and grosgrain ribbon, but this year I want to incorporate holiday cards as shown above. I am admittedly unfamiliar with Gauchere, but recently came across their Fall 2023 collection. There are many pieces that would fit seamlessly into my existing wardrobe and lifestyle. Their knitwear looks really good.

Founder and Designer Louise Roe and her daughter Sophia Roe hosted a cocktail in celebration of their tableware collaboration that launched exclusively on Net-a-Porter and the arrival of LOUISE ROE Collection. The photos of the very chic mother daughter duo are a huge inspiration to me this upcoming holiday season. These all black looks are heightened by unexpected details, fabulous jewelry and great shoes.
