September! I cannot believe it’s here already. Shaping up to be a fun month with a trip to the beach, birthday celebrations, a bridal shower, a weekend away and the start of football season. I don’t have a good pair of knee high boots. They are very chic with midi skirts, slip dresses and, when done right, denim. This pair by Toteme hit my inbox and they are truly stunning, would be a great buy for fall.

It’s still incredibly hot outside, but I’m looking forward to fall. I plan to stick to my typical uniform of crewneck sweaters and relaxed fit jeans. This allows me to change up my look with shoes and handbags.
Stylein’s new arrivals have me very excited for fall. All of their sweaters look great and would be a welcome addition to my winter wardrobe. As I wait for the temps to drop, I’ll drape them over my shoulders with a tank or a t-shirt – so chic.

Ashley Olsen and her husband, Louis Eisner, recently welcomed a baby boy named Otto Mozart Eisner. In typical Olsen fashion, she kept her entire pregnancy and birth of her baby quiet from the media. While I would have loved a glimpse at her maternity looks, I love and respect how private the Olsens have become after growing up in the public eye. Congratulations to the growing family!

I recently found an elbow length, ribbed boatneck top from Uniqlo in the depths of my closet. The neckline is chic and feels more polished than a regular t-shirt. Most of the options on the market have a striped, nautical feel, but I prefer the solid colors. Ralph Lauren is the only fitted, elbow sleeve style I could find, but Eileen Fisher has a looser fitting style and Mango has a wide assortment.

There are too many products on the market and not enough time to see what works and what doesn’t. I stick with products that work for me and am usually replenishing before it’s time.
