Le Weekend LXVI

I’m playing cards with the girls this weekend and really looking forward to it. I scheduled a much needed haircut and I’m planning to chop it – this photo of Sara Crampton is my inspiration photo. These calf hair pumps (on sale!) aren’t my typical style, but I can’t stop thinking about them. Happy weekend, all!

The Row Pre-Fall 2024

Per usual, The Row did not disappoint at Paris Fashion Week. There’s so much to love and it’s impressive how beautifully simple all of the pieces are. I’m most enamored with the strapless and scooped necklines, and I appreciate the chic rainwear. Neelam Ahooja has my favorite coverage on the collection – she breaks it down in a perfectly stated way.

Kate Winslet for Vogue

Kate Winslet is very chic. She is on Vogue’s October cover to promote her upcoming movie, Lee. I love all of her recent looks for Vogue, including the white, loose-fitting suit for Vogue World, her casual all black ensemble of a button down, leather leggings, canvas sneakers and a low bun, and (of course) the looks for the editorial itself. Kate is an inspiration in style and in life.

Chic Books

Coffee table books are an enjoyable home decor piece, and we’ve recently been hit with a wave of chic options. I can’t wait to check out Sofia Coppola’s ‘Archive’ covering the entirety of her singular and influential career in film. Allison Bornstein’s new release ‘Wear It Well’ “shares her philosophy and outlines systems that will bring your style into alignment and create a wardrobe that delights your spirit and reflects your most authentic self.” J. Crew recently celebrated their 40th anniversary with a retrospective of four decades of catalog covers and J.Crew stories.

Le Weekend LXV

There is so much content to consume during the respective fashion weeks, it’s hard to keep up. I adored seeing Danielle Goldberg and Kaia Gerber at The Row’s presentation at PFW. Today is the last weekday of September and I continue to check in on phoebephilo.com – where is she? I have a large extended family and this weekend is our ‘Cousins Weekend’, which should be a good time. Enjoy with you and yours!

Tove Studio Spring 2024

Tove Studio, designed by Holly Wright and Camille Perry, is a brand to watch – it is reminiscent of ‘quiet luxury’ without the exorbitant designer price points. When speaking about Spring 2024, Holly Wright said “We don’t want anyone to feel too ‘done.'” I adore this collection and appreciate their commitment to the Charvet slippers from Fall 2023.

Emma Dahl

I am heartbroken to hear of the recent passing of Emma Dahl. She was, and will continue to be, such an inspiration to us all. Sending love to her husband, Henrik, and family.
