I’ve worn the same diamond studs for the majority of my life, including my wedding day. I recently swapped them out for subtle gold hoops and love the look. They add a little something to my everyday uniform and make me feel more feminine on no makeup, baseball cap days. I’ve started with this budget-friendly pair, I have a pair by Sophie Buhai and I’m eyeing this chunky Cos pair.
After a recent book rut, I’ve finally gotten back into my reading groove. My most recent reads have been Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt, The Five-Star Weekend by Elin Hilderbrand, Tell Me Everything by Minka Kelly (celebrity memoirs are my guilty pleasure) and Never Lie by Freida McFadden. A perfect summer weekend coming up: relaxing by the pool with friends and family. I’ll be in my uniform of a low bun, a striped button down and chic sunglasses. We just finished Hijack on AppleTV and it was a great show. This tee was a recent cheap thrill and it’s really good – I got my regular size for a fitted look and sized up for a relaxed fit. J. Crew is a classic Americana brand and I always turn to the vintage catalogs for inspiration. It lost it’s luster for a bit, but ever since Olympia Gayot took over, it’s back and better than ever. The new essentials caught my eye: covetable classics, made with quality fabrics and timeless details. I grabbed the Gwyneth dress for a wedding last summer, the striped shirt dress is really good and the roll neck sweater will be making it’s way into my closet.

I was saddened to hear of the recent passing of Jane Birkin. She lived a full life and will be missed. Jane will continue to be a source of inspiration until the end of time.
I’m on the hunt for a new one piece bathing suit that is simple, chic and flattering. Toteme’s swimwear has rave reviews and will stand the test of time. I’m eyeing the smocked style, this one shoulder swimsuit and this twist strap swimsuit. I might need a new sarong to go with it.

At dinner with girlfriends recently I wore my usual style – a mix of high and low. The girls were able to identify this dress from Target as well as the Hermes Orans. Due to life with a little one, I try to save on clothing and splurge on shoes and handbags, which works for my current lifestyle.
It’s hard to believe the first week of July has come and gone. My calendar reminded me to look for Phoebe Philo’s collection registration and it’s exciting that it’s happening so soon. I cannot wait to see the collection. Have a wonderful weekend, all!
The images from Savette’s Pre-Fall 2023 campaign struck a chord with me. This collection introduces three new styles – the Tondo Chain Crossbody, the Tondo Pouch and the Mini Tondo (with a magnetic lock!) – and Rouge leather which is a fun pop of color. All of their pieces are incredibly beautiful and it’s hard to choose which piece to add to my wardrobe first – I’m thinking one of the pochette styles.

Jennifer Lawrence has been on the circuit promoting her upcoming movie No Hard Feelings and I’ve enjoyed her quiet luxury looks. This gray two-piece look consists of The Row Bamby top and matching pants. The trench paired with Manolo Blahnik Ballerimus has me inspired for fall and Jennifer has multiple Margaux bags which is currently at the top of my wishlist.
