Happy Fourth of July! Holidays have new meaning and extra sparkle since welcoming our little one. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Summertime and the living (and dressing) is easy. I keep it as simple as possible and find myself reaching for tee shirt dresses, tank dresses and easy pants. Linen and crepe pants are my go to, but this plisse pair would be a fun change.

Heading to a gorgeous black tie wedding this evening – I landed on this strapless dress in black (discussed here), a simple gold chain and these Bottega-esque earrings. Have a wonderful weekend with you and yours!

The Row surprised us with images of their Spring 2024 collection yesterday and the pieces are very different than past seasons. Everything seems more real, attainable, laid back and consists of looks that we’ve seen the Olsens wear. The knitwear is reminiscent of Phoebe Philo’s Celine and the Halima Coat reminds me of the Toteme Annecy. Most of the Spring 2024 looks can easily be recreated with pieces we already have in our closet (a trench, tees, trousers, a field jacket and Birkenstocks – to name a few!) and I’m looking forward to doing just that.

Hailey Bieber’s editorial for YSL pays homage to Yves Saint Laurent’s iconic Le Smoking jacket. The oversized blazer worn as a dress is chic and allows the Suzanne bag, slingbacks and SL557 sunglasses to take center stage. This isn’t a look for my everyday life, but provided inspiration nonetheless.

My Celine Cabas gets a ton of wear, but lately I’ve been craving a bag a bit more square in shape to carry via top handle. The Hermes Picotin is my dream bag, but Toteme and Prada make great alternatives. This style is easy to grab and go and looks super chic carried on the wrist or in the crook of the arm.

I’m trying to make more time for tennis, but the traditional white skirt looks are not my style. As I’m somewhat new to the sport, I found this interesting article on the history of the outfit. I would be much more comfortable in a short set a la Sporty & Rich. If you’re looking for a classic look, I’ve heard good things about this dress, although I’m partial to the black.

Luke Combs’ cover of Tracy Chapman’s ‘Fast Car’ is on repeat over here – I can’t stop listening to it. I (finally) snatched one of Sloppy Joe’s collared sweatshirts and it’s just as good as I hoped it would be. Looking forward to a relaxing weekend at the lake with a new book. Happy Father’s Day weekend to you and yours!

I kept receiving targeted ads for Dissh, and after checking out the collection, I can see why. It’s exactly my style. This off white tee looks great tucked into jeans or trousers with a chic belt, the signature blazer in bone would fill a gap in my wardrobe and the black flare pant are reminiscent of The Row at a kinder price point.

Kaia Gerber in The Row is effortlessly cool. I love seeing The Row pieces styled different ways and this look is no exception. I’m putting this on my inspiration board for an upcoming night out.
