The Row Chocolate Leather Slides

The Row ‘Chocolate’ leather slides are the chicest sandal of the summer. Just when I think my shoe wardrobe is complete, The Row launches a simple piece of footwear that I cannot get off my mind. I wear my Hermes Oran and Saint Laurent Nu Pieds to death all summer and don’t need these, but will keep them on my radar come sale season. Since all of my shoes are black, the white or red would be a fun change of pace. I have the heeled version from a few years back and wear them every chance I get.

Memorial Day II

I hope everyone takes the time to remember and honor all the heroes who have fought for our country. As the unofficial start of summer, I’m looking forward to the warmer weather and lightening up the colors and fabrics in my day-to-day wardrobe. Enjoy the long weekend!

Cos Atelier S/S 2023

I recently came across a capsule collection by Cos Atelier founded on the principles of luxury and exceptional design. Designed in Cos’ in-house atelier, each piece offers the finest fabrics, a contemporary fit and impeccable attention to detail. It is the embodiment of the Cos design philosophy. The entire collection is great and I could hardly narrow it down to my favorites – the v-neck linen maxi dress, the minimal shirt dress, the silk scarf top and dress, and the sheer knitted slip dress.

The Clutch

When events call for a clutch, I typically remove the center pouch from my Celine trio and carry the two outer pockets by hand. I’ve been wanting to change it up lately and a few options have caught my eye. The Bottega Veneta knot intrecciato leather clutch is a work of art and I love the simplicity of Toteme’s textured leather clutch (great deal here). My Mark Cross Grace small bag is in constant rotation and I love the look of the mini carried as a clutch a la Linn Hagglund.

Good Buys

During a facial last week, my aesthetician and I agreed that there are simply too many products on the market; it’s overwhelming. I first tried Chuda about a year ago and it’s working for me. The healing hydrating cream is my favorite, but the serum and exfoliator are great too. This Polo baseball cap has gotten much more wear than anticipated – it’s perfect for early morning coffee runs and trips to the grocery store. While on the hunt for a relaxed polo neck dress (love the commentary on Preston’s post) I gave this navy one a try and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the material. All in all, good buys.
