Happy weekend! We are down at the shore enjoying some family time for a milestone birthday. Have a wonderful weekend with you and yours.
It’s no secret that I love Cos, and their promotional emails are really good. This summer they are focused on simple pieces that are easy to wear and I have a number of items on my wishlist: the shirt dress, the tunic and the scoop neck jersey dress.

Vogue regularly covers Jennifer Lawrence’s street style and I find myself loving all of her looks. We are the same age, had our babies at the same time, and she just always seems relatable. She’s wearing great pieces this summer: from oversized button downs to matching sets to the iconic Challengers tee.

There’s something effortless yet put together with a polo neck dress. I shared this one a while back (here) that a few of you enjoyed as much as I did. I still haven’t found “the one” and want to try this option from Cos.

Clean, canvas bags with contrasting black leather trim have been catching my eye lately. I’ve talked about my XL Park tote by The Row ad nauseam (here, here and here) and it continues to be one of my most carried bags when I’m schlepping a bunch of stuff. Toteme’s T-Lock and Savette’s Symmetry bags in this combination are a smaller alternative to break up an all black look.

I’m very late to the game, but I recently discovered Ali Pew and I am enamored. She is impossibly chic, wears a ton of black, and makes me feel sane for taking a uniform approach to dressing. There are so many chic women on Instagram, but she stood out to me. I’m looking forward to seeing if her uniform changes after welcoming her little one at the end of the summer.

It’s been a few summers, and I still haven’t found the beach bag I’m looking for. My L.L. Bean tote is durable, simple and chic, but I have been craving something a bit more luxe. A few considerations are Viktorija Jasevice’s Celine tote, the Loewe basket bag, the DeMellier Santorini bag, or the J. Crew straw tote (all options preferable with black trim).

For far too long, I was waking up at the same time as my son, taking care of his needs, and then diving directly into work. Lately I’ve been making much more of an effort to wake up early for some “me” time; it has an incredible impact on the tone of the day. Ideally, I’ll throw on some eye masks, ice roll, write in my journal, enjoy my matcha and then step outside for a few laps around the neighborhood with a good podcast. What are your morning routines?
