By Malene Birger recently held a jewellery pre-launch at their Antonigade 10 store in Copenhagen. The event and it’s attendees looked incredibly chic and I saved many of the images to my vision board. The jewellery line is stunning and I’m excited to see what’s next for this brand.

Catherine Holstein, Founder and Creative Director of KHAITE, is such an inspiration both in her sense of personal style and in her career journey. After spending time as a design consultant at Gap, Vera Wang and J. Crew, Catherine founded New York-based KHAITE in 2016. KHAITE evolves with each new season, building upon a foundation of robust yet polished items distinguished by exceptional materials and subtle yet striking details.

One of the most worn – and most versatile – pieces in my closet is the black slip dress. I find them to be so flattering, and love that they can be worn with layers over top in the colder months. @erinoffduty has styled hers impeccably: long pendant necklaces, paired with denim, and a chic low bun – I want to emulate this for a few upcoming casual holiday get togethers on the couch.

While my style is extremely pared back, I love a little sparkle this time of year. The subtle shimmer on this Toteme sweater is perfect for holiday festivities. These drop earrings by Sophie Buhai are a chic departure from my typical diamond studs and would get plenty of wear throughout the rest of the year. Everyone loves the Manolo Blahnik Hangisi style, and the black satin flats are fun while still being practical.

I’ve been struggling with my mascara lately and am on the hunt for a new one; a primer might do the trick to give me the length I’m looking for. This Toteme look recently hit my inbox – so chic. My favorite holiday read is Elin Hilderbrand’s Winter Street series. I first read it five years ago and remember the characters and storylines so vividly, it deserves an annual read. Have a wonderful weekend!

Cos recently introduced me to photographer Ronan Mckenzie, known for her emotive portraiture and short films. While the holidays are usually such a busy time of year, it was refreshing to hear from someone who just appreciates going home, spending time sitting and being. The styling of this photoshoot is incredibly chic, I love the all black ensemble paired with silver jewelry and the classic crewneck sweatshirt.

Christy Turlington, American supermodel and activist, is a style inspiration in any decade, but I especially love her looks from the nineties. I constantly find myself scrolling through photos of her on Pinterest – she has so many iconic on and off duty looks and I can’t get enough.
I think I first saw the Saint Laurent Lulu in Garance Dore’s Love x Style x Life book years ago. I was immediately obsessed, and after seeing the always chic Elin Kling carrying it everywhere she went, I knew it had to be mine. I spent months tracking one down on the secondhand market and I still find myself carrying this bag anywhere and everywhere; it looks just as good years later. Saint Laurent’s current offering is similar, but whenever I see this particular bag I just see a pair of eyeglasses. Shop Lulu here.
When it comes to stocking stuffers, I like to give some of my favorite tried-and-true products. I always have this Necessaire hand cream with me, especially during the winter months. Cashmere accessories are always a hit; I love Uniqlo’s hats, gloves and scarves. The Filofax refillable notebook is one of the most used products in my life, I have the A5 size for work and the pocket size for everything else. Filofax offers all different types of paper, and the pages can be easily removed, reordered or replaced. I use these pens and purchase them by the dozen – my family knows they are always welcome in my stocking.
