Le Weekend LXXXVI

Happy Friday! We are heading to Florida with friends for a fun country concert. I’m hoping to enjoy some sun, good food and great music. Have a wonderful weekend with you and yours!

8910 Melrose Avenue

Toteme is continuing to expand in North America and the LA destination on Melrose Avenue is stunning. I adore Toteme’s apparel and enjoy seeing the meticulously considered furniture, art and details of their physical locations.

Ali Pew

I’m very late to the game, but I recently discovered Ali Pew and I am enamored. She is impossibly chic, wears a ton of black, and makes me feel sane for taking a uniform approach to dressing. There are so many chic women on Instagram, but she stood out to me. I’m looking forward to seeing if her uniform changes after welcoming her little one at the end of the summer.

Morning Routines

For far too long, I was waking up at the same time as my son, taking care of his needs, and then diving directly into work. Lately I’ve been making much more of an effort to wake up early for some “me” time; it has an incredible impact on the tone of the day. Ideally, I’ll throw on some eye masks, ice roll, write in my journal, enjoy my matcha and then step outside for a few laps around the neighborhood with a good podcast. What are your morning routines?

Olivia Culpo’s Bridal Style

Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey tied the knot this past weekend with a traditional wedding in her home state of Rhode Island. The traditional dress designed by Dolce & Gabbana for the ceremony is breathtakingly beautiful in it’s simplicity. The dinner reception was “a combination of old-school elegance and lush garden florals.” See the full wedding album on Vogue.

Lots of Linen

Linen is a summertime favorite fabric and it seems to be incredibly abundant this year. I nabbed these shorts and matching button down in navy and it’s perfect for working from home, running errands, or a walk around the neighborhood. I typically gravitate toward navy or white for the patriotic holidays, but I grabbed this muted red dress for the Fourth festivities and I am very impressed with the quality. The dress is nowhere near as long as it looks; I’m five feet tall and it hits an inch above my ankle.
