This weekend will be spent celebrating the life of a beloved family member we recently lost. I am thankful for all of the good memories, the quality time spent with family, and the legacy she leaves behind. May she rest in peace.
Linnea Lund is a new-to-me cashmere brand and I am thoroughly impressed. Their business model is made to order, which protects our planet and promotes a sustainable approach while giving the customer a very special piece. There are few things I love more than peeking behind the scenes at how our garments are made. Linnea Lund is a breath of fresh air from the overconsumption fast fashion on the market.

I recently went to see Challengers and enjoyed all of Zendaya’s looks in the movie. Her ever present Loewe Flamenco XL piqued my interest in this bag. I adored her ‘stealth wealth’ looks, complete with Chanel espadrilles, a Cartier love bracelet and a silver/gold Panthère de Cartier watch. I was not surprised to see Jonathan Anderson’s name in the credits – it was his first time outfitting a film and I look forward to his future movie styling.
After recently seeing a white blazer styled with a black tee and blue jeans, I am looking to add one to my wardrobe this spring. It goes from denim to dresses and is a chic layer to wear in frigid air conditioning as the temperatures start to rise. I’m looking for one slightly off white with a generous fit such as the blazers at Dissh, Gap and Good American.
Mother’s Day is right around the corner and there are so many good gifts to give and receive. Dorsey has special pieces that Mom will keep forever; the Clemence necklace is one of my favorites. A nice addition with any jewelry purchase would be a leather jewelry box; there are options at Net-A-Porter, Pottery Barn and Quince. Lastly, self care gifts are always appreciated, whether it’s a facial, massage, mani pedi or a day at the spa.

I recently walked into Hudson Grace and instantly fell in love with their signature scent – I bought the original candle on the spot. It’s now my go to hostess gift and I look forward to burning it each day. I’m in the market for a new desk for my small home office setup and am eyeing something like this. We are heading to visit some friends this weekend, should be a good time. Happy weekend, all!

Cos recently launched their Atelier line with the SS24 collection. Per usual, I gravitated directly to the accessories – the ballet flats and chiffon scarf look really good. I mix and match coordinating sets all year round and I am eyeing the silk set (top and bottom). The front slit on this flatting t-shirt dress will look great all summer long with a slight tan.

I’ve adored Billy Joel’s music for as long as I can remember. I find him (and his looks!) to be classic and always enjoy the nostalgic feelings of reminiscing on decades past. Billy in his Ray Bans is iconic and clearly stands the test of time. He’s ending his residency at Madison Square Garden with his last show scheduled for July 25, 2024; wishing him all the best in this next chapter.
Fashion seems to be trending toward practicality: bigger bags, oversized silhouettes, and now, tiny heels. I came across a pair of taupe heels by The Row at Saks and the heel was barely there. I adore this look and feel as though it can dress up an otherwise basic outfit. Kitten heels are versatile enough for the office, a luncheon, and even a wedding.

I follow several chic women whose looks are simple, refined and leave me wanting more. Many of the photos I reference for inspiration are made up of blue denim and black accessories, which is just about all I have in my closet. This makes it easy to get dressed for nearly any occasion, and new accessories fit seamlessly into my simple wardrobe.
