Le Weekend LXXIX

Happy Friday! While it’s important to invest in art that you will have forever, I have a few frames in our home that I like to switch out the prints from time to time to keep things fresh. It’s an easy tweak that can completely change a room and Etsy has so many options. I’m heading to a Broadway show with mom this weekend which is one of my favorite past times. I have minimal cooking skills but have been enjoying trying new recipes. I handwrite the ones that we enjoy onto a recipe card and hope they will be passed down to future generations. Have a great weekend!

The Row N/S Park Tote

I cannot stop thinking about The Row N/S Park Tote. It is chic yet functional, allowing me to carry all of the essentials and then some. The Row’s ‘large’ bags tend to be very large and I am torn on which size to invest in. The medium seems a bit small and the large would overwhelm me. I came across this bag in store which is an excellent budget-friendly alternative.

Luxury Leather

I take my stationary seriously and have committed to the Filofax notebook system: I have several notebooks for different areas of my life and have ‘archived’ notebooks from years past. The pages can be taken out, rearranged, and refilled. The Hermes Ulysse notebook covers are incredibly chic, but don’t work with the system I’ve spent years building. I am working with this Etsy shop on a custom cover with beautiful leather. This had me wondering, is the quality of the leather or the brand name what’s important?

Le Weekend LXXVIII

A full weekend ahead! I’m heading to Brooklyn for my alma mater’s March Madness tournament game. Shortly after, we’re off to Boston to visit friends for the weekend. I love the charm of the city and always look forward to trips there. I’ve added this ice roller to my morning routine and it is my favorite way to start the day. Have a lovely weekend, all!

Danielle Goldberg

Danielle Goldberg is one of my favorite stylists to follow (mentioned several times here) and I was thrilled to see her profiled in The New York Times. Her incredible work has been everywhere lately as she styles multiple clients (such as Greta Lee, Ayo Edebiri and Kaia Gerber) for various red carpets. Danielle is not comfortable sharing her personal life on social media; Greta Lee said: “In her dreams she would be invisible”. I look forward to continuing to follow her incredible work.

Springtime Style

We’ve experienced the first spring-like temperatures and it has me excited to dress for the warmer weather. I am planning to lighten things up by way of color and have been gravitating toward whites and grays. Matching sets are still in my rotation and Cos has great options. Gap has been really good lately – I love this shirt and the matching shorts would be great for a beach vacation. I recently saw a super chic woman strolling through the airport in slingback flats and now I’m on the hunt for a pair of my own.
