Lots of Linen

Linen is a summertime favorite fabric and it seems to be incredibly abundant this year. I nabbed these shorts and matching button down in navy and it’s perfect for working from home, running errands, or a walk around the neighborhood. I typically gravitate toward navy or white for the patriotic holidays, but I grabbed this muted red dress for the Fourth festivities and I am very impressed with the quality. The dress is nowhere near as long as it looks; I’m five feet tall and it hits an inch above my ankle.

Out East

There has always been great shopping in The Hamptons, but there have been a few recent additions that have the fashion world talking. Most notably, The Row opened on Main Street in Amagansett, which is only their fourth physical storefront. Khaite has a location in East Hampton that’s worth a visit. Let me know if you make a trip, and if any purchases are made.

Le Weekend LXXXIV

I hope everyone is staying cool during this immense heatwave in the United States. I’ve been keeping a button down nearby, as I find them to be loose and comfortable during these sticky days. I’m heading to visit my best friend this weekend. Boy, do I miss the days of us living in the same city. Have a great one with you and yours!

The Row Spring 2025

There’s nothing quite like the release of a new collection by The Row. I’ll be honest: I didn’t realize that the Men’s and Women’s looks were grouped together, and was surprised to later find that my favorites were from the Men’s collection. My style is simple and pared back, which is typically found in Men’s pieces. That said, the handbags in this collection stuck out to me and I can’t wait to learn more.

Pamela Anderson is having a moment. From her campaigns with Proenza Schouler and Pandora to her iconic debut at the 2024 Met Gala, she seems to be having so much fun with fashion. It’s a joy to follow along and I’m excited to see what’s next.

Miu Miu featured boat shoes during the Spring/Summer 2024 show, and suddenly, they’re everywhere. Some incredibly chic women have styled them in a way that have me considering getting a pair. Cosmetic Clutches

Mallory Goldman recently shared the tip to use designer cosmetic pouches as clutches. I like a clean, streamlined look and many of the cosmetic pouches are less fussy than the clutch offerings. Plus, it looks super chic tucked into a larger tote. My favorites are the Celine Triomphe (available in small, medium and large) and the Gucci Ophidia.

Le Weekend LXXXIII

A weekend for the dads! Coincidentally, my dad’s milestone birthday falls on Father’s Day weekend. I’m in charge of the charcuterie (giving these numbers a try) and the polaroid guest book. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, the not yet dads, the stepdads, the moms who are dad, the adoptive dads, the grandads, and the dads who are no longer with us.

I grew up admiring Victoria Beckham (hello, Spice Girls) and closely followed the launch of her own label. VB’s collaboration with Mango brings her chic styles to a kinder price point. My favorites are the satin handbag, the trench and the blazer without lapels.

Scarlett Johansson for Prada

Something about Scarlett Johansson’s campaign for Prada stuck with me. I find it so relatable with a low bun, large sunglasses and the beautiful Prada Galleria in the crook of her arm. I envisioned myself hopping into the back of a cab – this campaign hit the mark for me.
