The Row Winter 2024

The Row banned all cameras from their Winter 2024 show in Paris. While I was bummed for the delay in viewing the collection, I love the decision. It made the event more exclusive, kept their dedicated fans in suspense, and allowed those in attendance to focus on the beauty of the collection instead of getting the right shot. This digital age is hard to navigate and Mary-Kate and Ashley made a great decision. The Row never disappoints, and this collection is stunning.

Le Weekend LXXVI

I’ve recently changed my morning routine and enjoy my coffee before the little one wakes up. Couple that with The Five Minute Journal and it is a great start to the day. Layering multiple sweaters in the same texture is one of my favorite looks and the image below from Vogue is a good one. Enjoy the weekend, all!

Khaite Fall 2024 RTW

Khaite is always a favorite at New York Fashion Week, and this season was no exception. The variety of fabrications – leather, silk, fur – and the moody, dark, non-black colors are divine. The proportions of the outerwear are perfect and the leather jacket below stood out to me.

Miuccia Prada

Miuccia Prada is a vision on the cover of Vogue for March 2024. The images and corresponding interview left me endlessly inspired and I enjoyed reading about Mrs. Prada who is “surprisingly warm, self-deprecating, and has a gentle, musical laugh”. She loves beautiful objects that are useful for women and believes that fashion should be a small part of your day: “Get dressed in the morning, and afterwards you do something else.” This book of Prada Collections is on it’s way to me so I can dive into decades of Miuccia’s beautiful work.

The Packable Beach Hat

My basic straw hat has seen better days; it was shoved in my tote and pushed under the seat in front of me on a flight. I try to take good care of my things, but I am certainly not precious. The recent experience has me considering a packable beach hat. The Janessa Leone Felix has great reviews, or I might check out the options at J. Crew as hats are something I prefer to try on in store as opposed to ordering online.
