A recent trip to the beach left me yearning for a new pair of sandals. The Row Harlow sandals are beautifully simple and the low heel makes them practical. They would look just as good with a black slip dress as they would with jeans and a tee.

In the depths of winter, I need small tweaks to make my everyday uniform feel different. A sliver of a white tee shirt peeking out elevates a basic sweater. If you can’t find a white tee with a high enough neckline, try wearing one backwards, it should do the trick. I wear these sheer knee high socks with my Gucci loafers and my Manolo Blahnik ballerimus and it changes the entire look (SSENSE has the brown and red ballerimus on sale). An interesting necklace is the best way to dress up jeans and a crewneck and Sophie Buhai has many good options.

We’ve been making an effort to see the Oscar nominations and I cannot say enough good things about The Holdovers. I absolutely loved it. A family member recently gifted me What Kind of Woman and I devoured it in one sitting. I am heading to the beach this weekend for some much needed sunshine and time to unplug. Happy weekend, all.

While I struggle with all of the technology in our digital age, it is amazing that I can watch the entire Toteme Fall Winter 2024 fashion show from the comfort of my own home. Toteme is one of my favorite brands, as it provides inspiration for the woman I want to be and how I want to present myself to the world. Many of the looks include pieces that are already hanging in our closet, but shows us a new way to wear them. The longline version of the iconic scarf jacket and the neckline on this dress were two of my favorite pieces. The upcoming bucket bag looks chic and practical. I typically gravitate toward black in the colder months, but this cream look inspires a lighter approach. Bravo, Elin Kling and Karl Lindman.

Sofia Richie Grainge is one of the most sophisticated sources of style inspiration today and I was thrilled to see her pregnancy announcement. The photos for Vogue are stunning and an excellent representation of her classic and timeless style. I’m really looking forward to following her pregnancy style and new mom looks.

The Toteme T-Lock bag has been on my radar for a while, but recently seeing it on a colleague in the office proved just how chic it is. I love both the top handle style and the clutch style and that there are many colors, materials and hardware colors to choose from. I’m partial to the black grain top handle. An added bonus is that it’s an excellent price point for a high quality designer bag.

The girls planned a trip to the beach this weekend and I’ve challenged myself not to buy anything new for the occasion. I’m shopping my closet and sticking with my tried and true basics: one piece swimsuits, my Deitas scarf, Cos shirt dresses and beautiful sandals by The Row. Leaving the little one at home means I can pack light for the beach in my favorite net bags.
